Our client is an award winning Media Agency looking for a Media Buyer to join their team. This role would suit a TV Planning Assistant or Media Assistant looking to become a specialist in Screen Trading. This role will give you the opportunity to work across TV, Cinema and VOD, so introducing that Digital element to a usually traditional role.
In this role you would be responsible for managing implementation, planning, negotiation and buying across all media channels. You will have an Account Assistant reporting to you and you will be responsible for the media portfolio of a selection of high profile clients.
In order to fulfil this role my client is looking for someone with:
- 18 months + experience working in TV Buying within an agency
- Excellent communication skills: this role involves both internal people management and client management responsibilities
- Experience with all implementation tools, i.e Comms Tracker, Roy Morgan, Matrix etc.
- Understanding TV buying, and ability to make an effective integrated media plan for blue chip clients
- Data analysis skills & financial astuteness
