A global agency are looking for a driven media professional to join their planning and buying team! You will be leading the investment product across the team, overseeing the buying, activation and negotiation process, and managing a team of managers and buyers
The Role
- Manage and lead the planning and buying function across all media channels
- Build and maintain client relationships at relevant levels
- Oversee media plan handover from Communications team through to execution
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the agency
- Manage training and development of team consisting of Managers, Executives and Assistants
- Assist the Planning/Buying team on any new business opportunities

The Person
- MUST have 7+ years media buying/negotiation skills, including 3+ years management, preferably with a media agency
- Trades daily to ensuring all buys are efficient and improving every day
- Excellent understanding of all implementation and buying systems (BCC, Matrix, Mediawise, Adex)
- Critical analysis of all Survey/market data ensuring informed buying decisions
- Demonstrates financial and numerical astuteness
- Understanding of all key mediums and how the marketplace impacts media buys
This role will suit an experienced Planning & Buying Manager looking for a step up, or an Planning & Buying Director interested in joining an award winning agency!
