Summary
A market leading technology focused ad network is seeking a Head of Mobile Sales to lead a "go-to-market" strategy for a new mobile product. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter with a consultative sales approach who is pro-active in driving revenue and increasing client base. To succeed in this role, the individual will bring passion, creativity, and the ability to effectively communicate the vision and benefits of the product's capabilities and differentiators.
The Role
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide strategic input into the company's mobile "go-to-market strategy"
- The ideal candidate has a proven track record in the Mobile industry and strong contacts with agencies active in mobile advertising
- The Head of Mobile will collaborate with other sales departments to drive strategic creative solutions for advertisers across all verticals on mobile devices
- Insure market coverage, increasing awareness of mobile product, identifying and developing strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects, management of business pipeline and revenue forecasting
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals
- Be an expert and thought leader in the mobile space
- Support growth of existing business
- Create and implement a strategic plan for building the business
- Identify new sales opportunities
- Maintain a “cutting edge” knowledge and awareness of the key business drivers in the mobile market sector
- Have deep understanding of how mobile technology works
- Represent business unit at appropriate trade shows, conferences and seminars
The Person
- 3+ years’ experience in mobile in an agency facing ad sales role or an interactive rich-media role. 5+ years in digital advertising
- Has an outstanding track record of success
- Has a passion for mobile advertising, technology and emerging market trends
- Ability to accurately collect, analyze, interpret market data in order to formulate an educated, well thought out position
- Strong understand of the online advertising ecosystem
- Strong skills in presenting to executive-level contacts
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Public speaking / presentation skills
- Strong, consultative selling, negotiating and closing skills
- Collaborative, customer focused, results oriented
