About the role

The Digital Marketing Executive forms a key part of the marketing team, working across all aspects of marketing strategy. If you love getting into the detail and thinking fast but acting faster, then this is the role for you.
The position will play a vital role in their acquisition marketing, working with the wider team to deliver effective and innovative customer and driver acquisition campaigns. Whilst also driving increased brand awareness and consideration amongst key customer segments.
The role focusses on executing, monitoring and optimising the acquisition strategy across multiple channels with a focus on digital. The remit will also extend to driving activation of the existing customer base and covers both the Australian and NZ markets.

End-to-end planning and execution of innovative marketing campaigns:

  • Work closely with a media agency partner to plan campaigns to deliver to the overarching marketing strategy
  • Manage timelines to launch multi-channel campaigns (mainly digital, but also ATL)
  • Monitor results on regular basis 
  • Optimise campaigns regularly to drive optimum results and provide recommendations on elements including:
  • Report key results back to the business and work with the agency to manage performance dashboards
  • Recommend adjustments to plans and strategy based on results, including channel budget allocation and new opportunities to broaden targeting capabilities

Tracking and reporting:

  • Ensure all campaigns go to market with tracking in place to meet best practice guidelines
  • QA tracking issues with agency and internal teams and project manage resolution process
  • Track performance against KPIs covering / net growth / channel performance  

Finance and administration:

  • Be responsible for budget monitoring / delivery across all channels, addressing delivery issues and communicating these back to the team
  • Lead the finance process for the acquisition team


  • 2-3 years’ experience in digital marketing (agency or client-side)
  • Have exceptional attention to detail, even when working across multiple campaigns
  • Be a team player, but have the ability to meet individual deadlines
  • Strong data / analytical skills
  • Knowledge of what makes a great digital ad across SEM, display, online video, social and programmatic
  • A strong understanding of Google Advertising, Google Analytics and Facebook
