The Summary
My client is global player in online video advertising. The Business Development Director's primary responsibility will be to grow the availabilty of inventory for the video ad network including initial publisher prospecting and onboarding.This role requires the individual to have a solid understanding of online video providers across Australia, a proven ability to develop new business plans and a track record of delivering against commercial goals.
The Role
- Developing and executing a business development plan to recruit new inventory for the network
- Creating and executing against demand, supply and revenue forecast and plan
- Leading the onboarding and commercial relationship management of all publisher partners
- Maximizing the revenue potential per publisher flowing through the platform
- Developing best fit sales and marketing collateral for supply and demand partners
- Be engaged on a daily basis with publishers
- Recruit new publisher clients according to commercial and performance objectives
- Be responsible for driving the commercial business to meet budget and performance goals
- Be the primary commercial lead for publisher accounts, including client account management across all levels, evangelizing the platform and value to clients
The Person
- New business development experience and commercially oriented
- A proven track record of success in building relationships with local publishers
- Intimate knowledge of the local Australian media market and particularly across online video
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Sales planning and forecasting
- Solid experience in modelling and forecasting
- Deep knowledge of the exchange, DSP, SSP technology
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to create their Powerpoint presentations
