Description

The Web Analyst role is a key role in delivering data and intelligence products. The primary objective of the role is to provide support to internal SEM and SEO teams and clients, and conducting analysis and delivering actionable insights and recommendations whilst ensuring best practice analytics implementation.

The analyst is also required to provide training to internal and external teams; ultimately delivering a higher ROI to their clients.

This role will work closely with both their clients and internal teams to ensure they deliver the best insights, conduc analysis in the most effective and efficient ways and use industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of web analytics experience
  • Experience across a range of analytics platforms in particular Google Analytics, Omniture Suite & Webtrends
  • Strong knowledge of statistics & statistical analysis best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis and present clear and actionable insights and recommendations
  • Account management and solutions sales skills
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate testing from strategy, implementation & reporting
  • Strong understanding of SEM & SEO methodologies & key success metrics
  • Experience working with large and complex organisations with different levels of reporting needs
  • Demonstrated commitment to staying on top of the latest trends in the industry and implementing new strategies accordingly
  • Proactive approach to providing value to clients and a “can do” attitude
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team
  • Team player who takes ownership and enjoys executing and delivering exceptional results

Requirement:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Experience with SQL or other structure query language; programming experience highly regarded
  • Experience with statistical software
  • Knowledge of and implementation experience with web development
  • Strong knowledge of and implementation experience in both paid & non paid search
  • Understanding of paid search bid management tools
  • Understanding of the broader digital media landscape including but not limited to display, email and social
  • Experience undertaking attribution modeling
  • Experience undertaking click/heat mapping analysis
  • Experience coordinating & driving projects to delivery
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate to different levels within an organization
  • Experience using competitive Analysis tools such as Adthena, Adguru, Neilsen, Hitwise, SEM Rush or similar
